Zeldon Bailey, 68, of Millwood, WV, formerly of Hurley, died Friday, March 4, 2011 at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, OH.

Born January 24, 1943 in Hurley, he was the son of the late Green and Sulie Morrow Bailey. He retired from Cleveland Clinic Foundation as a Human Resource Executive after 48 years and attended Christian Fellowship Outreach Church at Kenna, WV.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Bailey; brothers, Herbert, Walt and Clyde Bailey; sisters, Pauline Prater, Inez Dotson and Edith Blair.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Harper Bailey; two sons, Dwayne Bailey and wife, Jo, of Madison, OH and Michael Bailey of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Brandon Bailey, Elizabeth and Olivia Bailey, Alison and Emily Keene; one sister, Millie Marcum Mullins of Red Jacket, WV; several nieces, nephews and a large extended family.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, March 8 at Word Evangelistic Outreach Church at Wolford with Doug Blankenship, George Freshour and Lymon Anderson officiating. Burial followed in the Eli Blankenship Cemetery at Hurley.

Pallbearers were family and friends.

Virginia Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
