He was the youngest son of Clarence & Katherine Killian Sheen. He attended schools in Salem and Spanish Fork. He graduated from Trade Tech.
He was introduced to his sweetheart, Lily Jane Jones on April 11, 1953. They later married in Mapleton on August 19, 1954. They were sealed for Time and Eternity in the Manti Temple on June 21, 1957.
He is survived by his sweetheart of 54 years.
His children are: Kaleen Polakoff (Ed), Gilbert, AZ; Stephen Leigh (deceased); Mary Jo Allen (Mike), Ogden, UT; Greg, Salem, UT; Calvin Wade, (Ophellia), Derry, NH; Karen Marie (deceased); Lori Ann, Provo, UT: and Jeff, Salem, UT.
Survived by fifteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Priscilla Sundblom; and LaVonda Anderson; also, sisters-in-law, NaDean Sheen and Sherron Sheen. Preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Ken, Dick, and Orlynn.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Knoll Park Chapel, 160 S. 460 W., Salem, Utah with a viewing at the church from 9:30-10:45 a.m., prior to services. Burial will be at the Salem Cemetery.
