Her father was Conrad P. Coleman b.1810 in New Jersey. He was a member of the "Early Settlers of DeKalb County", IN. Those records show he came to Dekalb County in Dec. 1842. Conrad and Susan had a son James, born 1845 in DeKalb Co. and a daughter Hope, b.1848 in DeKalb Co.

Susan may be the 2nd wife of Conrad P. Coleman and therefore Henrietta's Step-mother. See notes below.

The 1840 census for Dryden, NY has a Conrad P. Coleman enumerated as Male age 30-40; 1 male 70-80; 2 females under age 5; 1 female age 20-30; 1 female age 70-80. This data seems to match the burials above and later data for Conrad P. and daughter Henrietta?

Conrad P. Coleman is enumerated in the 1850 Census DeKalb Co., IN

Death/burial records have not been found for Conrad P. Coleman or his mother
