Mrs. Addie Francis, 72, of 128 W. William St., died at 9:50 p.m. Thursday in Decatur and Macon County Hospital after an illness of several years.
She was born Dec. 25, 1884, in Lincoln, a daughter of Levi and Emma Thompson Leffler and was married to Jesse Leo Francis in Lincoln in 1904. She came to Decatur from Warrensburg seven years ago.
She leaves her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Irene Grims, two sons, Harold and Henry, all of Decatur, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. One son and two grandchildren preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the J.J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home where friends may call after 7 p.m. today. Burial will be in the Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg.
