Many will miss Edna Barringer, nee Davis, 75, widow of Elmer Barringer, who passed away at the home of her step-son Burton Barringer of Palentown. Mrs. Barringer was said to be one of the oldest members of the Samsonville M. E. Church. Besides her step-son she is survived by a step-daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Samantha) Keator of Palentown; a niece, Mrs. Anton (Edna) Franz of Astoria, L. I. and several cousins. Arrangements were in charge of the H. B. Humiston Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at the Samsonville M. E. Church, where Mrs. Barringer was a member of the W. S. C. S. Besides being an active church worker Mrs. Barringer was an organist and teacher. The Rev. Purdy Halstead officiated at the church services and the Rev. Robert Boweing at the Krumville Cemetery where she was buried.
