WELLS-Goldie Wells, formerly of Junction City, passed away at Eugene, April 30, 1969 at the age of 79. She was born April 1, 1890, at Kamorgo, Illinois and was united in marriage to John Wells in Kansas, June 12, 1906. He preceded her in death in 1963. Surviving are 3 sons: Lee of Otis, Oregon, Albert of Eugene, Joseph of Lebanon; 4 daughters, Alma Spores of Dexter, Pauline Edington of Eugene, Ruth Henderson of Junction City, Mary Ross of Myrtle Creek; 25 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Nancy Box, Ollie Wilkerson, Fannie Graham, all of Illinois. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 2, at 1:30 p.m. in the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Junction City with Reverend Leo Woodruff officiating. Interment West Lawn Memorial Park, Eugene.
