Mary "Paulette" Harris, 63, of Normangee,
passed into the arms of our Lord on Tuesday,
January 25, 2011 in Bryan, surrounded by her
loving family.
Services are set for 11a.m. Friday, January 28,
in First United Pentecostal Church in Normangee.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday,
January 27, at the church. Burial will follow
in Wealthy Cemetery.
Paulette was born May 20, 1947 in Bryan, to L.O.
and Alma Ruth (Burt) Manning. In December of
1966, she married Johnny "Bubba" Harris and
they had two sons and two daughters. Mrs.
Paulette enjoyed working for Normangee I.S.D.
and was devoted to her church. She greatly
loved her children and grandchildren and
spent numerous hours caring for them.
Mrs. Paulette was a gentle loving soul and
will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father; her
husband of 43 years; a granddaughter, Kylee
E. Harris; and an infant sister, Precious Manning.
Survivors include her mother, Alma Ruth
Manning of Normangee; two sons and
daughters-in-law, Reggie and Leslie
Harris of Flynn, and Rodney and Christina
Harris of Normangee; two daughters and a
son-in-law, Natalie Aguirre and Maggie
and Bryan Smith, all of Normangee; three
brothers and sisters-in-law, Rev. Sam and
Gay Manning, Mark and Shelly Manning and
Clinton and Teresa Manning, all of Normangee;
eight sisters and seven brothers-in-law Pat
and Joe Spikes of Normangee, Rebecca and
Rev. Doug Utermark of College Station,
Rev. Carolyn and Darrell Munsey of Normangee,
Virginia Manning of Normangee, Sharon
and Clifford Crenshaw of Bryan, Chan and
Mike King of North Zulch, Ila and Don
Newsom of Flynn, Esther and Jimmy Powell
of Normangee; twelve grandchildren, Lauren
Harris, Kody Harris, Lexi Harris, Dusti Harris,
Brooklyn Aguirre, Ty Aguirre, Brady Harris,
Regan Harris, Cade Harris, Kersti Smith,
Sailor Smith, Brylee Smith; and one
great-grandchild, Heavenlee Ky; and
numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
