Pamella Ruffino Alack, a resident of Hammond, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2000, at Belle Maison Nursing Home. She was 85 and a native of Amite.
Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Hammond, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Monday. Religious services at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Hammond, at 10 a.m. Monday, conducted by a Dominican priest. Entombment in Rose Memorial Mausoleum.
Survived by her husband, Sam Alack, Hammond; three sons, Charles S. Alack, St. Louis, Louis J. Alack, Hammond, and John J. Alack, LaPlace; a daughter, Sadie Alack Blanchard, Hammond; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Sam Ruffino, Independence, Louis Ruffino Jr. and Joe Ruffino, both of Baton Rouge, and Nunzzio Ruffino, Amite; and four sisters, Lucy Costanza and Josie Burrell, both of Amite, Stella Terracina, Thibodaux, and Mary Checchin, McHenry, Ill.
Preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Louise Inzinna Ruffino; two brothers, John and Tony Ruffino; a sister, Rose Ruffino; and two grandchildren, Kimberly Anne and Nicholas Paul Alack.
