MAMOU - Funeral services were held for Druella Veillon, 83, of Mamou, at the Ardoin's Funeral Home Chapel in Ville Platte at 4 p.m., Friday, May 2. Burial followed in the New St. Ann's Cemetery in Mamou.
Ms. Veillon died Friday, May 2, 2008, at Savoy Care Center in Mamou.
Survivors include one sister-in-law, Ora Ella Soileau of Ville Platte; two brothers-in-law, Abert Veillon and his wife, Beverly, and Emile Veillon and his wife, Evelyn, all of Mamou; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin Veillon; her parents, Durel and Blanche B. Soileau; three sisters, Laura Logan, Audrey Miller and Nellie Staffa; and three brothers, Joseph Calvin "Kayan" Soileau, Lionel Soileau and Byron Soileau.
Father Bob Courville officiated.
