JOHNNIE YBARRA, 62, of Lake Jackson passed away Sunday, January 2, 2011 in Houston, Texas. He was born December 20, 1948 to Joe Ybarra and Ernestine Gracia in Houston, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Maria Ortiz Ybarra; sons, John Anthony Ybarra, Pedro Ybarra and Phillip Ybarra; daughter, Hermielinda Lindsey; brother, Fernando Ybarra; sister Agnes Longoria and grandchildren, Christian Glover, Sapphire Ybarra, Melissa Villareal, Joshua Ybarra, Heaven Le Ybarra, Izaiah Ybarrra and Ashlyn Ybarra. Johnnie loved his wife with all his heart. He loved his kids and his grandkids very much. He liked fishing, camping, reading his bible, praying, going to church and praising the Lord. He always looked so happy. Everybody loved him. Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the Palms Funeral Home Chapel in Angleton. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 5, 2011, also at Palms Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Houston National Cemetery on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 1:30 pm.
