MRS. CLEO M. HEATH TO BE BURIED TODAY
Services at Graveside in Westover Cemetery This Afternoon
The funeral services of Mrs. Cleo Moore Heath, widow of Alexander T. Heath, who died Friday morning at 9 o'clock, in Jacksonville, Florida, will be held from the graveside in the Westover Cemetery this afternoon at 6 o'clock. Reverend W.G. Crawley, pastor of the St. James Methodist church officiating assisted by Rev. E.C. Lucas, pastor of the First Christian church.
The death of Mrs. Heath is a sever shock to her many friends. She left Augusta to visit Mrs. M. H. McPhail in Jacksonville and while there became ill. She was taken to St. Vincent's hospital and although every possible care and attention was given she became steadily worse and passed away Friday morning.
Mrs. Heath was born in this city on July 26, 1870, a daughter of John W. Moore and Alice Calhoun Moore. Reared in the lower part of the city in the neighborhood of and in the atmosphere of Saint James church, of which she was a devoted member, she made many friends who morn her passing. She was married November 30, 1915 to Alexander T. Heath, who died just six months ago.
Surviving her by this union are a step-son, Robt. E. Heath and his two children, Robert E. Heath, Jr., and Mrs. W. T. Ivey. She also leaves two brothers, Chas. W. Moore of San Diego, Cal. and T.J. Moore of Washington, D.C., three sisters, Mrs. F.P. Stansell, Mrs. Eugene Greneker and Miss Minnie Moore, and several nieces and nephews.
The following friends will serve as pallbearers: C.R. Daniel, T.J. Gwin, J.H. Morris, Julian M. Smith, Hal Powell and M.S. McPhail.
