Rita Richmond,69,of Fulton passed away Friday, January 22, 2010, at Tranquality Hospice in Atlanta,Georgia.
She was born May 9,1940 in Fulton to Josephine Mary Cheatum and the late Richard Dextor (Goldie) Richmond.
Ms. Richmond was a member of Second Christian Church and a retired nurse after 34 years of service, spending most of her career at Ellis Fischell Cancer Center and The Fulton State Hospital. She also worked part time at Missouri School for the Deaf.
She is survived by her mother Josephine Richmond, her son and daughter-in-law LaRome and Joisanne Richmond of Atlanta, Georgia, neices and nephews Coletta Berry of Fulton, Connie Taylor of Houston,Texas, Randy and Lovette Galbreath of Memphis,Tenessee, D'Andrea Galbreath of Clairmont,Florida, Delessa and James Portor of Kansas City,Missouri and Bobbie and Paul Rhodes of Columbis, Missouri, Corey Pasley of Indianapolis, Indiana and numerous great neices and nephews.
She was preceeded in death by her father, one brother and one sister.
Funeral service January 29, 2010, 1:00PM, at Second Christian Church in Fulton.
Service and interment under the direction of Debo Funeral Home.
