Succumbs in Hospital
WINAMAC—Mrs. Mattie Anders,
72, Star City, died of a heart
attack at 8 p.m. Friday at Cardinal
hospital.
Born in Star City on Dec. 28,
1883, sihe was the daughter of
Harrison and Amanda (Summers) Lidgard.
She was married to Harry Anderson
in August, 1933, in Akron, 0. The
deceased was a member of the Pythian
Sisters.
Survivors include the husband,
three brothers Charley, Star City;
and Arthur, Whiting; and Harry,
Williamsport.
Final rites will be conducted at
2 p.m. Monday at the Star City
Methodist church with the Rev.
Bryan Johnson officiating. Burial
will be made in the IOOF cemetery
there. The body will remain
at the Fry and Lange funeral home
where friends may call until one
hour before the services.
