She had been in failing health for several years and seriously ill for two weeks.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church conducted by the pastor, the Rev. J. G. Edwards, the Rev. Lacy Drew and the Rev. David McKenzie. Burial was in the Bird Pond Cemetery directed by the Mayer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilson, the former Miss Lelia McCants, was born Oct. 31, 1883, in Williamsburg County, daughter of the late J. L. McCants and the late Mrs. Susan Green McCants. She had lived in the Oak Ridge section all of her life. She was active in church affairs until her health failed. She was a member of Oak Ridge Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. and Mrs. Wilson celebrated their 50th Wedding anniversary May 5,
Surviving in addition to her husband are six sons, J. Leland Wilson of Clearwater, Fla., Leonard P. Wilson of Charlotte, H. Elmer Wilson, J. Murphy Wilson, Marvin L. Wilson and Daniel W. Wilson Jr., all of near Andrews; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, J.T. McCants of Georgetown and U.R. McCants of Andrews; a sister, Mrs. J.S. Elliott of Andrews.
