GRANTVILLE
On December 3 occurred the death of Maggie, wife of Joseph Arno, after an illness of nine weeks of typhoid fever. The deceased was a daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Betoume and if she had lived until next February would have been 21 yesr old. Three years ago she was married to Joseph Arno. Beside the almost heart broken husband she leaves one little son six months old also father, mother, two brothers and three sisters, besides a large circle of relatives and friends who mourn her loss. Funeral was held Monday from the R. C. church at Brasher Falls, interment at that place. The bereaved friends have the sympathy of the community in their sad bereavement.
Mr. and Mrs, Joseph Bercume and Fred Bercumne, of Madrid, also Paul Rossia and daughter, of Canton, were called here the past week by the sickness and death of Mrs. Arno.
Mary Leach, of Bassel!, has been visititig relatives here.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sharlow, of Raymondville, visited at the home of her parents here recently.
