STATESBORO -- Jeanne Sexton Ethridge, 70, died Jan. 25 at home.
She was a native of Chatham County and moved to Statesboro 33 years ago. She was a graduate of the University of Georgia. She and her husband owned College Pharmacy for 20 years.
She retired from the Bulloch Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council, where she pioneered the Ramp program. She was recognized by past governors George Busbee and Zell Miller for outstanding performance. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Statesboro.

SURVIVORS: her husband of 48 years, Clifford Ethridge of Statesboro; three daughters, Kathryn E. xxx and Cissy xxx and Lisa xxx; a sister, Melrose Poling of Bristol, Tenn.; a brother, Jack Sexton of Richmond Hill; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and five nephews.

FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, burial at 2 p.m. in Hillcrest Abbey East, Savannah. -Savannah Now, Jan 2000
