Charles Burrington, another of Wisconsin's pioneers, and one of Sun Prairie oldest citizens has answered the call of his Maker, and passed to his eternal home. His death occurred last Friday, Oct. 25th at his home at the eastern limits of the village, after nearly two months of illness incident to paralysis. He was 73 years of age.

Deceased was born in Royalton, OH in 1839 and when he was seven years of age his parents moved to Wisconsin locating in the town of Windsor. On November 5, 1861, he was united in marriage to Miss Eliza Hill of Token Creek, by Rev. Eieleth of Sun Prairie. Mr. Burrington followed the vocation of farming until 1900 when he moved to this village.

He leaves a wife and six children, four sons and two daughter, to mourn his death. The children are, Mrs. Vienna Kendall, Willis, Sam, Leonard and Howard, all of this village, and Belle of Gridly CA. A sister at Richland Center also survives him.

The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock in the M. E. church and interment was made in the village cemetery.

Those from out of town in attendance at the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. W. Kendall, Earl Burrington, and Jud Francis, of Madison, L. Lake and Mrs. Sarah Lake, of Windsor.
