One of the declassified documents discussing the loss of Private Alvin D. Poynter, along with 18 other individuals; three military members jumped from the plane before it was hit by enemy fire, and I also have their notarized statements of what they witnessed. They were the only survivors. Alvin is my 4th cousin.
