SAXON, SAMYE S. age 85, of Chelsea, AL passed away on October 07, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Horace Saxon and son, Cary and parents, C.L. and Octavia Sumner; brother Glen Sumner; sisters, Ruth Sumner and Merle Sullivan. She is survived by her son, Ron (Donalyn), Randy, Doug, and David (Tina); daughter, Sue Howard (Tom); sisters, Faye Lynch and Martha Harkins. She also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 10 at Elmwood Chapel at 2:00 pm with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
