Margaret McCann McLaughlin, 89, of Collingdale, a homemaker, died Oct. 4 at St. Francis Country House in Darby.
Born in Chester, she was a homemaker who raised 13 children. The third eldest of six siblings, she was the first person baptized at St. Margaret Mary Church in Essington.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who made her smile. Her favorite color was pink.
She was the mother of the late Kathleen Lehr, Thomas McLaughlin, Michael McLaughlin and Joseph McLaughlin.
Survivors: Sons, Robert R. McLaughlin, John E. McLaughlin, Albert J. McLaughlin, James McLaughlin, Mark A. McLaughlin; daughters, Margaret A. Joyce, Barbara Orr, Ann C. McLaughlin, Terri C. Marsella; sister, Florence Miles; 20 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfield Road, Springfield.
Visitation: After 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
Burial: SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Marple.
Contributions: St. Francis Country House, 1412 Lansdowne Ave., Darby, PA 19023.
