I believe Oscar's middle name to be Arlander. His first wife was Mattie Bowen, born in Texas about 1898. Death date unknown at this time. They were married in Oklahoma and had one daughter Ellen "Ellie", before they divorced. If anyone can help with information about Mattie's parentage or date of death and burial location; it would be greatly appreciated.

Apparently Mattie married again to H. L. McDaniel on the 6th or 8th of June 1920, in Tecumseh, OK.

Oscar and second wife Rosa Yielding were married on February 26, 1923 in Marion County, AL.

Oscar lost his right arm in a hunting accident before age 28. He had brown hair and blue eyes. It was said he could pick as much cotton, or more, than many people using two hands. He had a little feist dog named "Boss".
