CLANTON, James M. Passed away Sept. 28, 2010. He was born in Valdosta, GA and moved to Tampa in 1938. He was retired from the U.S. Navy having served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam with numerous medals, ribbons and honors. He is survived by his sons, James Clanton (Elaine) of Pembrook Pines, Robert John Clanton (Deborah) of Alaska; 2 sisters, Elsie Lutz of PA, Florine Lazzara of Tampa; 3 grandchildren, James R. Clanton of Denver, CO, Austin M. Clanton and Roberta Lee Clanton, both of Tampa. Friends will be received from 9-11am on Oct. 1st at the South Tampa Chapel of Brewer & Sons, 3328 S. Dale Mabry. A Chapel service will be conducted at 11am, with burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery with full military honors. Brewer & Sons
