Daniel F. Duffy, 77, Conestoga R2, died Monday at 2:15 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital after a prolonged illness. The husband of Florence C. Bealler Duffy, he was born in Lewistown, a son of the late William and Mary Peters Duffy. He resided in Lancaster 55 years and retired in 1955 from Franklin and Marshall College, where he was employed 10 years as a fireman. In addition to his wife, survivors include three sons Michael, Annville; Terry L., stationed with the U.S. Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton, Calif.; and Donald E. Ream, Lancaster; and one stepson, Paul J. Ream Jr., of Lancaster; and five grandchildren. (Lancaster New Era - June 6, 1967)
