Terry Duffy, 67, of Lancaster, passed away on March 29, 2016 in Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Daniel and Florence Duffy.

Terry served in the Vietnam War as a U.S. Marine and received two Purple Hearts for being wounded in Combat.

He was a Machinist for Burnham, U.S. Boiler Company for twenty years and before that he was a Welder for High Steel.

Terry was a long time gardener, growing fruits, vegetables, and flowers of many varieties through-out his years. He enjoyed being outside when the weather was nice, and was most relaxed sitting under a shade tree next to his garden.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles for most of his life. His last motorcycle, a big twin Harley Davidson, he put over 100,000 miles on it.

When Terry couldn't be outside, he enjoyed collecting coins, watching the History Channel, and attending to his many houseplants, some that were nearly fifty years old.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Rebecca Duffy; and, his brothers: Paul and Donny Ream.

Terry is survived by his daughter: Faith Smith and her husband Martin; his sons: Terry Duffy, Jr. and his wife Amanda Jean, Daniel Duffy and his wife Amanda Jane, and James Duffy and his companion Shanicka Kraybill; his step-daughters: Marie Acosta and her husband Julio and Megan Jones; his granddaughter: Daniella Rodriquez and Lacey Hatton; his grandsons: Brendan Burgey, Reggie Watts, and Harley Anne Duffy; and, his companion: Vickey Phillips.

A Committal Service will be held at 12:30 PM on Thursday, April 07, 2016 in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
