Mrs. Maria, wife of David Lines of this village, died at 25 minutes past 11 on Wednesday evening. A brief illness ended in the epidemic, the Grippe. She was seventy years of age, and was a daughter of the late Jacob Hornbeck, of Wurtsboro. She was married to Lewis N. Weed on November 26, 1845. Mr. Weed died in 1861, and in January, 1879, she married Mr. Lines. She leaves one son, Lewis Weed, now Deputy County Clerk. Her funeral will be on Saturday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, at the Methodist Church, of which she was a member.
