"No longer by my side....but Forever in my Heart."

Oso was deserted at a groomers. He was a show dog that spent the majority of his first three years of life locked in crates.

He was not socialized or even housetrained. How heartbreaking it was to see him on a lawn looking around as if he had never seen fresh air before.

After just a few weeks of spoiling him and loving his sweet personality he became the ultimate lap and cuddle dog.

He fell in love with my husband and was always beside him ...trotting like a puppy behind him. If he couldn't be with my husband he pouted and worried until he could.

Jasper, our black cat, (still with us at 12 and going strong) was a kitten when I brought him home - he fell in love with Oso and they cuddled and hung out with each other. Every day they went to the front door to wait for their "dad" to get home. Never mind I had walked in that same door just an hour before - no one waited for me!

His years of abuse came with a terrible cost - bad teeth, ear infections and poor eyesight. But that little dog was a trooper, he travelled all over the East Coast, climbed mountains and ran through snow storms. He loved being outside and he loved being a dog.

His illnesses eventually caused him too much pain - we had to put him to sleep. It was a nightmare and he is missed to this very moment.
