Pearl L. Gesell, 87, of Deer Park Road, Westminster, died Monday morning (July 19, 1980) at Carroll County General Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Dayton, Ohio, she was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Deer Park, for twenty years and she was president of the Ladies Aid Society.

She was the daughter of the late John W. and Martha Pierson Little. Her husband, George F. Gesell, died in 1935.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Hazel Owings; a son, Luther Gesell, both of Westminster; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Miller, and a half-brother, Durhia Little, both of Westminster.

Also surviving are seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.

Services will be held Wednesday at 11 AM at the Thomas D. Fletcher and Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Larsen officiating.

Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home
Tuesday evening 7-9 PM.

Her pallbearers will be Wayne Owings, Neal Owings, Donald Menchey, Stanley Gesell, Brian Gesell and Gilbert Gesell.
