Samuel BOYSEL, son of Frederick & Susan, born Oct. 20, 1852, died Apr. 13, 1929, aged 76-5-23.
Born and raised on a farm east of Batavia known as the old BOYSEL farm. When a young man he bought a farm about two miles s.w. of Batavia where he lived until 1911, when he moved to Batavia. Many sterling qualities.... one of a large family of children of which two are still living.
Survived by wife Sadie, two sons, Frank of Batavia, Ross of Pueblo, Col.; two daughters, Carrie EBE of Oakland, Calif.; and Sylva CHANNELL of Vermillion, S. D.; 4 grchn and one grgrson, one brother, and one sister. Nov. 23 would have marked 50 years of married life. Member Church of Christ, Batavia. Batavia Cemetery.
