The lifelong West Brighton resident was born Norma Bruno, and she and Mario Celardo were married in 1951.
Mrs. Celardo enjoyed reading and cooking, but most loved entertaining during the holiday season and any family activities.
She was a simple and straightforward person who was devoted to her family, they said.
Mrs. Celardo was a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, West Brighton.
Her husband of 52 years, Mario, died in 2003.
She is survived by her son, Michael Celardo.
Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, West Brighton.
