Robert, was the son of Joseph and Sarah(Rhodes)Patton. He died Saturday,near Tremont,IL. at the age of 66 years and eleven days. He was born north of Ramsey and had lived in and around Ramsey all his life. At the time of his death he was visiting his daughter and family, Mrs. Louis (John) Cline of Peoria.
He was married to Martha Prine Barton,Nov.25,1906,who preceded him in death,April 30,1938. To this union four children were born, two sons Rufus Patton and Glen Patton of Nokomis, two daughters Louise Cline and Bertha Wiseman both of Peoria,IL. He also leaves twenty grandchildren,one great grand child, a brother Joe Patton of Grand Junction,Colo.,two sisters, Mrs. Mary White of Ramsey,and Mrs. Mae Gibson of Pana. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Charles,two sisters, Mrs. Julia Cole and Fannie Patton.
