Marguerite married Joseph Vassar, Sr. Feb 9, 1872 at St. Bruno's Church, Van Buren, Maine. Two of their children; Joseph, Jr and Mary were born in Frenchville, Maine. They also had 10 other children born in Minnesota after they moved there in 1876.
Marguerite died in childbirth of their 12th child.
