S/Sgt Edwin "MIKE" Elliott died non-battle on 10 May,'44, flying as Passenger in the B-25 Mitchell #42-53371, 321st Bomb Group, 447th Bomb Squadron, "Deathwind" Combat Ship but gassed and ready so used as a Courier Flight - Crashed in bad weather, top of Corsica Mountains.
