A Nebraska Officer Killed

OMAHA, Aug. 24 - Official notification of the death of Lieut. Manderson "Bud" Lehr has been received by his parents, Mr. And Mrs. Henry F. Lehr of Albion. He was killed in action July 15. Lieutenant Lehr was born in Petersburg, Neb., in 1895, later moving to Albion where he graduated from the high school. He was a student at Beloit College at the time he enlisted in the French ambulance corps in 1917.
