Faye Johnson Roberts, 88, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009, at the North Mississippi Medical Center.
She was born July 4, 1921, in Itawamba County to William Allen and Sarah Emily (Hughes) Johnson.
She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Grove Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening and flowers and loved her family unconditionally.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Bobby Fowler and James Atkinson officiating.
Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include her children, John Allen (Susie) Roberts of Waukegan, Ill., Nan (Ronald) Houston of Fulton, and David Wayne (Brenda) Roberts, James William (Melinda) Roberts and Mary Roberts, all of Tremont; her twin sister, Raye Gholston of Fulton; four sisters-in-law, Jean House, Mildred Johnson, Ruby Johnson and Louise Sweatman; seven grandchildren, Ferrane (Waylon) Wilson, Paula (Wes) Smith, Stephanie (Anthony) Cooley, Phillip Oatsvall Jr., Jeffrey Oatsvall, Peanut Oatsvall and Jennifer Oatsvall; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Roberts, in 1969; three grandsons, Michael Roberts, Chris Roberts and Matthew Underwood; her parents; two sisters; and seven brothers.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and grandsons-in-law.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
