Man With 225 Descendants is Dead at 93

M. D. Webb, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. S. L. Howard, 2513 Clinton Ave., at 11:00 a. m. Friday, is survived by approximately 225 direct descendants: six children, more than 80 grandchildren, 125 great - grandchildren and 20 great - great grandchildren.

Webb was born and reared in North Carolina. While a young man he left his native state and after living in Tennessee and Arkansas came to Texas in 1887. He settled in Grandview and lived there until 1907 when his wife died and he came to Fort Worth.

His sons and daughters are: W. D. Webb of Abilene, A. P. Webb of Cleburne, C. P. Webb of Grandview, Mrs. S. L. Howard of Fort Worth, Mrs. E. Fry of Cleburne and Mrs. Harriett Harriman of Fort Smith, Ark.

Funeral services will be held at the Howard home at 4 p. m. Saturday. Rev. W. W. Rivers will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
