He was born in Bacsfoldvar, Hungary, and later changed his name to Emery Reves. In 1930, he founded the Co-operation Press Service. He fled Berlin in 1933 and reopened his press office in Paris.
Author of "The Anatomy of Peace" (1945), publisher, and literary agent of Winston Churchill.
Art collector. Emery Reves and wife, Wendy, bought Villa La Pausa at Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, South of France. Winston was a frequent visitor during the 1950s.
