Alley was a rescue dog, my son adopted in February of 2005. She was a sweetheart from the start and a great companion and watchdog. She was so easy to train and learned many tricks, Her best one was how to be cute and get whatever she wanted.

We thought she was the cutest pup ever, with those big eyes and even bigger ears that stood staight up. She was a mix of terrier and collie. She had the coloring of a collie but the look of a terrier.

She loved to run and chase the squirrels and birds in her yard, this was the terrier in her. She also loved her family very much and loved to just hang out with them and lay around snuggled up, this was the collie in her.

She really did have the sweetest disposition of any dog I've had or known. Allie was so mild and laid back except when it stormed, she hated thunder storms and would look for a good hiding place every time.

She was only 5 1/2 years old when she suffered a ruptured disc which caused severe spinal cord damage causing paralysis within only a few hours. Even though she was taken immediately to the vets there was nothing that could help her.

She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. She was a big part of our family and will always be remembered and loved. She will also be missed by her little Yorkie friend, Frankie her best buddy.

She is at home and buried with our 2 other dogs Charli Brown & Scruffy in our backyard.

On Ocotober 18, 2012 her best buddy Rusty Girl was laid to rest next to her.

The Heart Of A Dog
It came to me that every time
I lose a dog they take a piece
of my heart with them,
and every new dog
who comes into my life
gifts me with a piece
of their heart.

If I live long enough,
all the compponents of
my heart will be dog,
and I will become as
generous and loving
as they are.
