Helen Zupancic, 93, born April 30, 1910, passed away Oct. 23, 2003. Preceded in death by her husband, Louis; son-in-law, Nick Savage; granddaughter, Deborah Ann Blatnick; parents, Alex and Anna Uhal; brothers, Petey, Andrew, John and Michael Uhal; and sisters, Mary Maikovich, Anna Pruss and Marge Elich. She is survived by daughters, Betty Ann Savage, Gladys (Edward) Blatnick, and Shirley (John) Aschenbrenner; and grandchildren, Edward James Weber Blatnik (Susan Mary Blatnik Weber), Adam (Tammy) Blatnik, Nick Robert Savage, Randy James Blatnick, Troy (Julie) Aschenbrenner and Todd Aschenbrenner. Also survived by two great-grandchildren, Joseph Adam Blatnik and Tiffany Ann Blatnik; and sisters, Sophie Rooth, Alice (James) Connor and Evelyn (Willard) Keller. Helen resided at the Pueblo Extended Care Facility where she was known to be very enjoyable and a "cute little lady" that loved her family and friends. Viewing, noon to 5 p.m. Sunday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Parastas, 7 p.m. Monday, and funeral service, 10 a.m. Tuesday, St. Michael's Orthodox Church, officiated by Father Christopher Stanton. Interment, Roselawn Cemetery. In lieu of food and flowers, donations may be made to St. Michael's Church in Helen's memory.
