Born Oct. 13, 1922, in Mayberry, he was the son of the late Murray B. and Grace Wantz Myers.
He was the husband of Geneva Breitweiser Myers, who died in 1999.
He had been a shoemaker for Kessler Shoe Co. for 40 years. He was a member of the Church of the Open Door, where he belonged to the Super 60s. He also attended the Westminster Senior and Community Center and enjoyed watching sports.
Surviving are brother and sister-in-law Theron A. and Vivian Myers, of Westminster; nieces Debbie Myers and Norma Knox, of Westminster, and Jean Nichols, of Virginia; great-nephew and great-nieces Brian, Angie, Melanie and Jennifer; and great-great-nephew Elias. He was predeceased by brothers Dennis and Burnell Myers.
Interment in Sandy Mount Cemetery.
