A funeral was held at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Florence for Melissa Krainich of Florence who died Oct. 30 of a stroke. She was 55.
She was born on April 11, 1954 in Portland to James and Florence (Young) Krainich.
She graduated from high school and attended college. She worked as an in-home daycare provider and as manager of Woahink Lake Suites.
She is survived by a son, Joseph Krainich of West Jordan, Utah, sisters Bonnie Coombs of Florence, Cleone Auger of Portland, Gail Moosman of Preston, Idaho, brother Brad Byington of Buffalo, N.Y., and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by grandson
James Krainich. .
Arrangements were by Nelson's Bay Area Mortuary in Coos Bay.
The Funeral was held November 3rd at the Florence Oregon LDS Chapel at 12:00 Noon. The graveside service was at Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy, UT on Friday November 6th, also at 12:00, noon. She will be laid to rest next to her grandson James.
