Mrs. Bones, age 82, died Thursday evening in Blackburn Convalescent Home here. She had been a resident of Donley County the past 32 years and was the wife of the late L.F. Bones, who passed away in April, 1951. Mrs. Bones was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Wilson Gray of Clarendon, Mrs. Jack Higginbotham of Maybank, Texas and Mrs. Delphia Wood of Indianapolis; five sons, Homer Bones of Clarendon; Lucian of Belen, N.M.; L.K. of Portland, Oregon; T.J. of Vancouver, Washington and J.L. Bones of California; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Turner of Marion, Ill.; 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were J.R. Bulls, Joe Holland, Walter Clifford, Paul Shelton, Lee Holland and Sam Dale.
Burial was in Citizens Cemetery with the Murphy-Spicer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
