Gracie Kincheloe, 82, died Dec. 21 in Greenwood, Ark. Services were Saturday, Dec. 24, at Riley Funeral Home Chapel with George Tolbert officiating. Burial was in Pecan Wells Cemetery in Hamilton County.

Mrs. Kincheloe was born Dec. 28, 1911, in Coryell County, the daughter of William Jessie and Pearl Luinia Leach Jeffery.

She was a member of the Church of Christ. In 1951 she moved to Carpinteria, Calif., and practiced as a private nurse in and around the Santa Barbara and Carpinteria area. After retirement she moved to Mansfield, Ark., in 1978 to be close to her daughters. She was active with the Senior Citizens Center in Mansfield.

Survivors include four daughters, Mary Lee of Mansfield, Laverne Hall of Gustine, Thelma Biles of Golden, Colo., and Vera Dean Goines of Van Buren, Ark.; a son, Larry Kincheloe of Santa Paula, Calif.; two sisters, Rose Lee Perkins of White Settlement and May Belle Koether of Wenatchee, Wash.; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Gary Goines, James Lankford, Danny Goines, Perry Goines, Bryan Underwood and Dan Thatcher.
