MARY LANG

Mary Kamen, youngest child of Wenzl and Barbara Kamen, was born near Steinauer, Nebr., Dec. 1, 1868 and passed away March, 21, 1957 having reached the age of 87 years, 3 months and 20 days.

She was baptized in infancy, and as a young girl received her religious instruction in the Catholic church.

On June 4, 1888 she was united in marriage with Frank Lang, Jr. of Humboldt, Nebr. The young couple started housekeeping on the groom's farm southwest of Humboldt.

To this union was born one son, Jesse Edward.

In the year 1912 they moved to DuBois where they spent their remaining years.

She was preceded in death by her husband in January 1949, her son, Jesse, who passed away in January 1954, also an only granddaughter, Ella, in 1935.

She is survived by one grandson, Arthur, of DuBois, three great grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Rosary services were held at Asa's chapel on March 22, followed by services at St. John's Catholic church at Table Rock on March 23.

Pallbearers were Lawrence, Leonard, Paul and Edmund Kamen, Richard Ullman and Melvin Buhman. Burial was in the Humboldt cemetery.
