Funeral services for Amor Ysasaga, 94, who passed away Saturday, will be Tuesday, November 4th, at Templo Nazaret United Methodist Church, 2623 Cornell, with Rev. Eutimio Gonzales officiating; with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. Amor was born to Benjamin and Virginia on April 17, 1914.
He grew up in Cameron. Amor married Felicita Lopez in 1931; and she precedes him in death.
Survivors include his children, Raymond Yasasga of Malakoff, Felicita Mitchell of San Antonio, Julio and Virginia Yasasga, Amos and Lupe Ysasaga, Jessie and Juanita Ysasaga, Janie and Sammy Gonzales, Rosie and Robert Cruz, John and Beatrice Ysasaga, Amanda Ysasaga, and Christina Ysasaga, all of Lubbock; one brother, Juan Ysasaga and wife Carmen of Lubbock; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Amor is preceeded in death by son, Joe; a daughter, Virginia; and a brother, Arcadio.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5-7 p.m. Monday, November 3rd, at Resthaven Funeral Home.
