Man Killed In Hunting Accident
Charles City - A shotgun blast killed a Gloucester man in an apparent hunting accident near here Saturday.
Carey Francis Carmine, 28, of the Wicomico area, was dead of buckshot wounds in his head and chest when rescue squad personnel arrived on the scene shortly after 11 a.m.

Carmine was an employee of the Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Co. and attended Providence Baptist Church.
His survivors include his widow, Mrs. Linda Carmine, two sons, Scotty Carmine and Christopher Carmine; his mother, Mrs. Hellen Carmine of Wicomico; and eight brothers, Grayson Carmine of San Antonio, Tex., Wellington Carmine of Gloucester Point, Decatur Carmine of Baltimore, Floyd Carmine of Hayes and Earl Carmine, Odell Carmine, Bernice Carmine and Boyd Carmine of Wicomico.
