Terry Jenkins of Madison, 69, died on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital in Jackson.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Southern Funeral Home chapel in Durant, with burial in Seneasha Cemetery in Goodman.
Mr. Jenkins was born June 26, 1936 in Attala County to Carl Hanson Jenkins and Mamie Love Jenkins. He was a retired farmer and attended Parkway Pentecostal Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hanson Jenkins, and two brothers, Ben and Burel Jenkins.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Jenkins of Madison; his mother, Mamie Love Jenkins of Vaughan; four stepdaughters, Greta Magdon of Florence, Glenda J. Pinion of Jackson, Ginger Gurley of Sharron, and April D. Pearson of Pisgah; nine brothers, Hanson Jenkins, Jr. of Durant, Joe Willie Jenkins, Paul Jenkins, Hubert Jenkins, Carl Jenkins, and Mike Jenkins, all of Vaughan, James Jenkins and Billy Ray Jenkins, both of Yazoo City, and Jerry Jenkins of Bentonia; three sisters, Lottie Mason of Pickens, Mary Malone of Vicksburg, and Maggie McDaniel of Benton; and 13 step-grandchildren.
