Born December 3, 1942 in Pulaski, he was the son of Frank H. Bratton and Stella Ratcliffe Bratton.
Mr. Bratton was retired from Alliant Tech, formerly RAAP, with 30 years of service. He was a member of the Memorial Christian Church, Draper.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 37 years, Brenda Chrisley Bratton of Draper; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah B. Shumate and Mark Shumate of Draper; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Edward Bratton and Vonda Bratton of Boones Mill; three grandchildren, Britt Shumate, Kristin Shumate, Lauren Shumate; sister and brother-in-law, Cindy Mabry and Tommy Mabry of Pulaski; brother and sister-in-law, Michael Bratton and Brenda Bratton of Dublin; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, 3 p.m., at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Johnny Howlett officiating.
Interment will follow at Memorial Christian Church Cemetery, Draper. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski.
