My grandmother, "Nanny" as we called her, was a very special person in my life. She raised me for 4 years, from ages 8 to 12, and taught me life skills I would not have otherwise received. My brother and sisters also lived with her for long periods of time when they were young. She died at age 59 and left a huge void in our lives. She was our rock. Rest in peace, Nanny.
