Tom Walker

Services for Tom Walker, 62, Oceana, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Toneda Baptist Church at Oceana with the Rev. Vern Cook and the Rev. Wayne Rollings in charge. Burial will be in the family cemetery at Hatcher.

Walker died at 1 a.m. Monday in a Weston hospital.

Born Feb. 10, 1903, he was the son of the late W. S. and Minerva Milam Walker.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elna Walker; two sons, Billy of Cleveland, Ohio, and Roger of Fort Belvoir, Va.; a stepson, James Brown of Oceana; a daughter, Geneva of Oceana; a brother, Denna of Hatcher; and two sisters, Mrs. Nora Bailey of Oceana and Mrs. Grace Petty of Glen Fork.

The body will remain at Evans Funeral Home in Oceana. (RNS)
