According to Missouri's AL Death Record, she was 94 y, 7m, 29 days old at the time of death. Her spouse is listed as Rich E. Roberts. Her father was Jake Batestte [Jacob "Jake" Pierre Battiste] and mother Nancy Kiddon [Nancy nee: Alexander]. I've no idea where the name Kiddon came from but I have not found any other record that reflects that name and Nancy was an Alexander and only married once. Missouri's parents, Nancy and Jacob are buried in Shady Grove Cemetery, Mobile, AL. Missouri's husband died several years before she did and is buried in a cemetery on Old Pascagula Rd. It is believed that this unmarked grave belongs to Missouri since her obit in the Mobile Press stated she was buried in Bayou La Batre. This unmarked slab is beside her son Richard E. Robert's grave.
